A Fairfield County man is facing multiple charges after allegedly purchasing firearms for a convicted felon and trafficking narcotics in Connecticut, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Toys "R" Us, which filed for bankruptcy last fall, plans to close as many as 182 outlets, about one-fifth of its total number of stores across the country, according to a court filing late Tuesday.
A shift by customers to online shopping and increased competition led to the move, the Wayne, New Jersey-based company said.
