A North Bergen man caught ringing doorbells in a Carlstadt neighborhood turned out to be the same one who masturbated in front of a local woman the day before, police said Thursday. West Milford PD: Female Fare Bites 70-Year-Old Uber Driver, Jumps From Moving Car
A 70-year-old Uber driver was bitten and beaten by a customer who then jumped from the moving vehicle, West Milford police said. The victim was treated for injuries to his nose, face and hands, as well as others, after the incident on Clinton Road, according to a police report. Denville Man Charged With Driving Drunk, Reckless After Crash
A 33-year-old township man was charged with drunk and reckless driving after crashing his car in Denville, authorities said. Sean R. O'Hara was intoxicated when he crashed around 8:45 p.m. Saturday, near Florence Avenue and Cedar Lake East, Denville Police Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said. O'Hara was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was issued a DWI and charged with reckless and careless driving, and failure to report a motor vehicle accident.
