The murder trial for three men implicated in the death of a college student from Westchester is set to begin next week.
Jury selection for the trial for Tasjawn “Tay” White, 20, Pierre Mensah, 43, and Phillip Spearman, 54, who have been connected to the fatal shooting of Mount Vernon resident Donovan Brown, 24, in March last year, is expected to begin on Monday, Nov. 18.

DA: Westchester Man Who Lured Teen Into His Home Charged With Sex Abuse
A 39-year-old man is behind bars and facing a sex abuse charge after luring a teenager into his home by using an app on the pretense he was looking for a dog sitter, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. announced Thursday.
Once in his home, of Charles Johnson of Mount Vernon solicited sex and forcibly groped the female victim, Scarpino said.
Johnson, who was charged with first-degree sex abuse (a felony), was arraigned Wednesday, May 9 in Mount Vernon City Court.
