2 Dead, 3 Injured In Montville Crash, Prosecutor Says
Two people were killed and three others were injured in a Montville car crash Friday, authorities said. A 2009 Saab and 2016 Nissan collided at the intersection of Route 202 and Heritage Court around 7:30 p.m., Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Sheriff James M. Gannon said in a joint release with Montville Police Chief Andrew Caggiano. Lake Hopatcong Construction Worker Killed In Demolition Accident
A 38-year-old Lake Hopatcong man was killed while working on a demolition job in Pennsylvania. Luke Marzano was working on the Martin Tower property site in Bethlehem when he sustained crushing injuries to his pelvis and abdomen around 11:50 a.m. Thursday, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said. A crew has been working to clean up the remnants of the Bethlehem Steel Corp headquarters, which closed four months ago. A 48-year-old Montville driver was issued a summons for reckless driving following a chain reaction crash involving a school bus, authorities said. A New York man who was pulled over in a motor vehicle stop on Route 80 was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer when he ran into oncoming traffic after being asked to get out of his car by a Montville police officer early Thursday morning, authorities said.
