Long Island Man Arrested 46 Times, Nabbed For 10 Larcenies
A Long Island man who police say has been arrested 46 times has been charged with 10 new larcenies across the region.
Emmitt Smith, age 43, of Bellport, was charged on Wednesday, April 24, with the larcenies that occurred across Nassau County, according to Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, an investigation was conducted that led to the arrest of Smith for the following larcenies:

Nassau County Police announced the arrest of 38-year-old Anthony Boglino of Miller Place on Wednesday, Feb. 7 for the alleged scheme, which took place about seven months prior.
On Sunday, July 2, 2023, Boglino — who is the founder of Miele Consulting Corporation — met with a woman, 48, in Merrick under the guise of helping her secure a Small Business Administration Loan (SBA).

Lorraine Pilitz, age 65 of Merrick, received her 33-month sentence and orders for restitution on Friday, Jan. 19, the United States Attorney’s Office Eastern District of New York announced.

A verbal squabble between two pizza workers got saucy when one decided to use his pizza peel as a weapon, police said.
John Vano, age 50, of Merrick, was arrested on Sunday, May 7 following an argument with a coworker that turned violent, authorities claimed.
Detectives said that on Saturday, May 6, Vano and his 42-year-old male coworker got into a verbal altercation at La Piazza, located at 2191 Merrick Road, at approximately 8:15 p.m.
