CT Man, 23, Found Shot To Death Hanging Halfway Out Of Car, Police Say
A 23-year-old Connecticut man was found shot to death hanging half out of a vehicle.
The incident took place in Hartford around 1:50 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, in the area of Canton Street at Donald Street.
According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police, officers responded to the area for a report of an unresponsive man.
Upon arrival, officers found Jose Rodriguez, age 23, of Manchester, partially inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, Boisvert said.
He was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Two Connecticut women have been arrested and charged, in unrelated incidents, with stealing a combined $26,616 from a program financed by the state Department of Social Services.
Hartford County residents Amy Figueroa, age 30, and Tarina Martin, age 32, both of Manchester, were arrested by inspectors from the Chief State's Attorney's Office on separate warrants charging both women with larceny.

With fall in full swing and days becoming shorter, deer collisions on Connecticut roadways "increase by leaps and bounds," warns AAA Northeast.
"Drivers need to steer clear of deer beginning this month, the start of deer mating season in Connecticut, when more deer traverse wooded areas along the state’s roadways at twilight," said the AAA.
