A Woodbridge woman is wanted by police for assaulting a family member with a tire iron, authorities said.
Sometime before 8:30 p.m. on August 18, the suspect, 45-year-old Marleny Salamanca, got into an argument with a relative, 24, outside a residence in the 4500 block of Hendricks Drive, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
During the argument, Salamanca grabbed a tire iron from a nearby vehicle and hit the victim with it, officials reported.

A man from Triangle is wanted for beating a woman and biting her leg in his home on Wednesday August 3, police said.Jaharii Underwood, 30, was fighting with a 34-year-old woman in his home just after 1 a.m., in the 19000 block of Fuller Heights Road, when he became physically violent, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Underwood struck the woman as she tried to leave and proceeded to bite her leg, officials reported.

Employees and patrons of the Montclair Family Restaurant were fighting at around 4 p.m., when one employee called his acquaintance, 33-year-old Joshua Fitzpatrick, to assist him in this dispute, Prince William County Police reported.
