A woman allegedly walked in to a Louis Vuitton store on Long Island and walked out with a stolen textile without paying, police said. An alert was issued by the Suffolk County Police Department for a woman who allegedly stole a “Sea of Love” textile from the Louis Vuitton Store in Saks Fifth Avenue on Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station last year. The woman allegedly stole the item at approximately noon on Monday, Dec. 30. The textile had an estimated value of approximately $170. Police: Newark Airport Cleaner Clips Passenger's $1,500 Louis Vuitton Belt
A Newark Airport cleaner snatched a $1,500 belt that Port Authority police found rolled up in his work trolley, authorities said Wednesday. Airport screeners summoned police around 8 p.m. Tuesday after the 28-year-old owner said the Louis Vuitton belt vanished after he took it off to pass through a security checkpoint, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo said.
