Gonzalo Galvez, 58, was convicted by a jury on April 18 of two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child and course of sexual conduct against a child, announced Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas. There will be visiting hours for Marine Sgt. Robert Hendriks from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Whitting Funeral Home on Glen Cove Avenue in Glen Head. There will be a graveside service at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday at Calverton.
