South Jersey Man Struck, Killed While Loading Van, Authorities Say A 54-year-old man from Camden County was killed on Saturday while loading a van in Atlantic County, authorities said. Hector Salgado of Lindenwold reportedly was struck by another motorist along Brigantine Boulevard in Brigantine, according Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner, who is investigating the collision. The crash occurred at 12:17 p.m. near the Brigantine Bridge, initial reports said.
