The remains discovered in a Philadelphia arboretum nearly two years ago were identified this week as those of a 22-year-old man, and his alleged killer was arrested, authorities said. Driver Fatally Shot, Crashes Into Pickup Truck In Pottstown: DA
A 22-year-old man was killed while driving in Pottstown after unknown suspects opened fire on him on Sunday, May 29, authorities said. Nahmer Baird, of Pottstown, was driving a white Nissan Sentra down the 400 block of West Street when there was an "exchange of gunfire" with a black Chrysler 300 around 8:10 p.m., Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said. Baird then drove for two blocks before crashing head-on into a Dodge pickup truck, injuring the adult male driver, the DA said. PA Man, 65, Busted On Child Porn Charges Again: DA
A 65-year-old Pennsylvania man who was busted on child porn charges more than two years ago was back in custody after detectives caught him this time with 12 files, authorities said. Edward Elvin, of Audubon, was arrested after detectives raided his Park Lane home on Thursday, April 28, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said. Elvin was found with eight photos of child pornography on his email account and four videos on his cell phone, the DA said. Man Wrestles Gun From Teen Robbers And Kills Them Both In PA, Authorities Say
A man being robbed by two teenage boys wrestled a gun from one of the boys and used it to kill them both in Pennsylvania, authorities said. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. in an alley behind 334 Warren St., in Norristown, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said. A Philadelphia area man was found with more than $20,000 worth of fentanyl in an undercover bust, authorities said. Naim Payton, 23, of Morrisville, was set to sell a large quantity of the uncut, highly lethal drug on Monday, April 25, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said.
