Former Westchester HS Star Helps Villanova Win National Title A former Westchester high school basketball standout had his one shining moment late Monday night. Eric Paschall, a 6-foot-9 transfer student from Fordham University, was named to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team as he helped Villanova to the national title in a one-sided win against Michigan on Monday, topping the Wolverines 79-62 to claim the crown. Paschall, a starter, scored just six points in the title win and grabbed eight rebounds in the effort. Connecticut Highways Rank Among Worst In Nation, Report Says Connecticut ranks among the bottom five states in the country in overall performance and cost-effectiveness, according to this new report released by a libertarian think tank.  The Reason Foundation published its 23rd Annual Highway Report on Thursday, Feb. 8.
