Westchester could be a week away from entering Phase 3 of the four-phase process of reopening the economy as the state recovers from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Hudson Valley is on track to enter Phase 3 as of Tuesday, June 23, when it would join Western New York, the Capital Region, Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, Central New York, Mohawk Valley, and North Country.
In Phase 3, indoor dining is permitted, as well as personal care services such as nail salons and tattoo parlors, though all businesses will be under strict restrictions.

Covid-19: Number Of CT Hospitalizations For Virus Falls Below 250
The number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) hospitalizations in Connecticut is at the lowest it’s been since March.
As of Friday, June 12, there were 244 people hospitalized with COVID-19, down 23 from the day before.
Since the outbreak began in March, there have been a total of 44,689 (up 228 overnight) confirmed COVID-19 cases, resulting in 4,159 (13 new) deaths.
Of the confirmed COVID-19 cases, 15,561 were in Fairfield County, with 1,374 in Litchfield County.

Though many businesses are beginning to ramp back up in New York as all regions outside New York City reached Phase 2 of the state’s reopening plan, some will remain closed for at least two more weeks.
