Lanes Reopen After Crash On NY Thruway In Ramapo (Developing) A crash on I-87 in the Hudson Valley blocked multiple lanes for hours on Monday, Jan. 27. The incident happened in Rockland County on Monday, Jan. 27 at around 11:05 a.m. on I-87 South in Ramapo, according to 511NY.  The crash temporarily left the left and center southbound lanes blocked and caused stop-and-go traffic in the area. The lanes have since reopened to traffic. More information about the crash has not yet been released by authorities. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Taconic Parkway Clear After Car Hits Guardrail In Putnam Valley (Update) A crash caused a closure on the Taconic State Parkway in the Hudson Valley. The incident happened in Putnam County on Thursday, Jan. 16 around 10:20 a.m. on the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Putnam Valley north of Exit 25, according to 511NY. According to New York State Police, a single car traveling south crashed into the center guard rail. No injuries were reported.  The parkway was cleared as of 1 p.m.
