Woman Parks Car On Hudson Valley Bridge, Jumps To Death A woman was killed after jumping from a bridge in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, May 19, in the town of Rhinebeck.  According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge for a report of a woman who had parked her car mid-span on the bridge, exited her car, and then jumped off the bridge. Body Recovered After Person Jumps From Bear Mountain Bridge A body was recovered after a person jumped from the Bear Mountain Bridge. The incident happened around 1 p.m. Friday, May 17. The body of the victim was recovered from the Hudson River near Stony Point, according to Trooper A.J. Hicks of the New York State Police. The identity of the person has not yet been released.
