Body Found Near North Bergen Elementary School ID'd As Jersey City Man, 24
The body of a 24-year-old Jersey City man was found Thursday morning near an elementary school in North Bergen, authorities said. Police responding to a call of a deceased man found in a parking lot near 3200 Liberty Avenue found Marquis McCleod just before 7 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was pronounced dead less than 30 minutes later. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

Undercover Sting Busts Jersey City Taxi Service With Insurance Fraud, Prosecutor Says
Three owners of a Jersey City taxi service were arrested for having uninsured drivers operating uninsured vehicles, authorities announced Thursday. Aziz Ibrahim, 63; Michael Ibrahim, 23; and Theresa Ibrahim, 47 had been running three different companies under the names A1 City Corp., 4M Enterprises Inc. and AAA City Bergen Inc., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Toddler, Grandmother Critical Following North Bergen Hit-Run Crash
A 3-year-old boy and his 56-year-old grandmother were hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in North Bergen, authorities said. The two were rushed to Jersey City Medical Center after being struck at 46th Street and Tonnelle Avenue early Saturday morning, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. 21-Year-Old Man Gunned Down In Jersey City Park
A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in a Jersey City park Wednesday evening, authorities said. Alshaquir Duval was shot at Ferris Triangle Park and found with gunshot wounds in front of 182 Cator Avenue, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. An 18-year-old Massachusetts man is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old Hudson County girl after giving her drugs and alcohol, authorities said. Wolide Yessuf, of Cambridge, met the girl over social media in March, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
