14 Men Arrested On Child Porn, Endangerment Charges In Ongoing Jersey Shore Sting: Prosecutor
A series of investigations led by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit and the Monmouth County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has resulted in the arrests of 14 men this year, authorities said on Thursday, Aug. 11. 23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In Crash ID'd As Former HS Lacrosse Player
A 23-year-old motorcyclist died in a Howell crash Friday, July 29, police said. Dakota Neron was on a 2019 Yamaha bike when he veered off of Norse Drive when he veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole around 10:30 p.m., NJ Advance Media reports citing Howell police. The Jackson resident was rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Online records show Neron played lacrosse for Jackson Memorial High School. A New Jersey State Police sergeant has been accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl who goes to school with his daughter at a motel in State College, PA and giving her alcohol, according to various news reports citing police documents. Trapped Worker Rescued From 10-Foot Hole On Jersey Shore
A 26-year-old worker was rescued after becoming trapped in a 10-foot hole on the Jersey Shore Thursday, June 30. The man was helping to dig a footing for a deck at a Carmine Way home in Howell when he became trapped up to his shoulders in dirt around 3:25 p.m., Howell police said. Howell Sgt. Paul Mazzeo, who happens to be a trench-collapse specialist, used construction debris to keep more dirt from collapsing in on him before a trench rescue unit came to the scene. Devoted Monmouth County father Ryan Randall Briehof died on Thursday, May 5 following a long and valiant battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was 37. A man walking along Route 9 in Howell was killed after being struck by a vehicle overnight.
