ID Of Plainville Firefighter Killed By Broken Piece Of Truck Outside Burning Home Released
Officials have identified the Connecticut firefighter killed in the line of duty death Sunday, July 27. Raymond Moreau, 59, had responded with the Plainville Fire Department to a structure fire at 45 Maria Road at approximately 6:20 a.m. Sunday, Connecticut State Police said at a press conference. Moreau was standing near a fire apparatus when a piece of the truck broke off and struck him, causing catastrophic injuries to his leg. Driver Dies After Crashing Into Tree On I-91 Off-Ramp In Windsor Locks: Police
A 74-year-old Massachusetts man was killed after his car left an Interstate 91 off-ramp and crashed into a tree in Hartford County, according to police. Carlos Sosa, of Granby, died just before 11:45 a.m. Thursday, May 8, following the crash on the southbound Exit 40 off-ramp in Windsor Locks, Connecticut State Police said.
