A 38-year-old man has been arrested after being busted trying to dump nearly 1,000 pills while running from police in Linthicum, authorities say.
Officers were responding to a domestic assault at Royal Farms on Pinnacle Drive around 12:30 p.m., when they witnessed the suspect, later identified as Corey Dajuan Hairston, strike a victim, according to an Anne Arundel County Police Department spokesperson.

Pair Arrested On Gun, Meth Charges In Atlantic City: Prosecutor
Two people were charged with a variety of drug and weapons offenses, authorities said.
On Friday, Jan. 27, Paul Dawley, 43, of Atlantic City and Jacquelyn Ryan, 33, from Warentown, were arrested and charged with narcotics and firearms-related offenses, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
The target residence was registered/rented to Paul Dawley.

Out-Of-State Duo Busted With Loaded Guns During Long Island Traffic Stop, Police Say
Two out-of-state men are facing charges after they were allegedly busted with loaded guns during a traffic stop on Long Island.
State Police troopers first spotted the suspects’ vehicle at around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, on the Meadowbrook State Parkway in East Garden City.
Troopers watched as their Nissan Altima, which had a Pennsylvania registration, failed to stop at a stop sign near the exit ramp to Zeckendorf Boulevard, according to police.
