Gettysburg police were called to the scene shortly after the second robbery occurred at the BB&T Bank located at 29 North Washington Street on Aug. 9 shortly after 1 p.m. The bank had previously been robbed as part of a spree on in June by Nicholas Cahill-Lane, 31, and Ashley Lanham, 27, of Frederick, Maryland, according to Howard County police. Community Rallies Raising $37K For Families Of 2 Fatal Crash Victims In Gettysburg A crash in Adams County claimed two lives on Friday, according to the Pennsylvania State police. Mike Green, 32, of Thomasville and Karigen Emig, 22, of Gettysburg, died on impact in the crash just before 10 p.m., according to the Adams County Coroner. Green was driving his Suzuki GSX 13000R at a high speed while heading east on Route 30, state police say. The slur reading in part "God Laughs Die," was sprayed in red paint outside the office of the Phoenix Counseling Center near Gettysburg on Sunday. PA Man Threatens To Harm Woman Over Price Of Easter Candy, Police Say A man threatened to harm an Adams County woman over the price of Easter candy according to Pennsylvania State Police.The threats allegedly occurred around 9:30 a.m. at the Family Dollar located at 3460 Biglerville Road in Biglerville Borough on March 15. Karissa Bateman, 25, of Gettysburg, reported the incident to police. The man allegedly made terroristic threats towards Bateman following a dispute over the price of Easter candy, according to a PSP report issued March 26. There is no word on any on-going investigation relating to this incident.
