Recall Issued For Ready-To-Eat Ham Product Due To Salmonella Concerns
Thousands of pounds of a ready-to-eat ham product that was distributed to institutions across the country have been recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination. Canada-based Olymel S.E.C./L.P. is recalling 6,804 pounds of products that could be contaminated, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced this week. The ham items subject to recall were packaged on Nov. 5, 2020, and be viewed above. Recall Issued For 95.3K Pounds Of Ready-To-East Sausage Products
Johnsonville is recalling nearly 100,000 pounds of smoked sausage products that may be contaminated with extemporaneous materials, the USDA announced. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that Johnsonville is recalling a total of 95,393 pounds of ready-to-eat jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage products that were found to have hard pieces of green plastic them. Possible Contamination Leads To Ready-To-Eat Sausage Recall
More than 2,500 pounds of a ready-to-eat sausage product have been recalled nationwide due to contamination concerns involving metal in the food. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that New Hampshire-based North Country Smokehouse has recalled approximately 2,686 pounds of products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal.
