Duo Busted With 400 Pounds Of Marijuana During Traffic Stop In Capital Region, Police Say
A New York City duo is facing charges after they were allegedly busted with a massive amount of marijuana during a traffic stop in the region.
Troopers in Saratoga County stopped the suspects’ car just after noon on Thursday, Nov. 10, as they drove on I-87 in the town of Wilton, according to State Police.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed approximately 400 pounds of marijuana, police said.
Photos released by investigators show more than a dozen cardboard boxes filled with plastic bags containing the drugs.

Carol Amato, age 62, of Massapequa, had last been seen leaving her Marion Place residence at around 9:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, Nassau County Police said.

Five people are facing prostitution charges after an investigation into a Westchester County spa.
On Friday, Oct. 14, New Rochelle Police concluded their investigation into the Green Rivage Spa, located at 514 Main St. (Route 1), and found that the business had been engaging in prostitution, police said.

Two employees of a Long Island spa have been arrested for allegedly providing illegal massages and prostitution.
The duo was arrested in Seaford on Thursday, Sept. 15 at the Foot Space on Merrick Road.
According to Nassau County detectives, an investigation was conducted at the Foot Spa where it was determined illegal massages and prostitution were being conducted.
