Matthew Davis, age 34, was fatally shot during a confrontation between Vermont State Police and Brattleboro Police in West Brattleboro, Vt. on the night of Tuesday, July 19, Massachusetts State Police said.

Troopers arrested Worcester County resident Bryan Walker, age 39, of Fitchburg, on Friday, Feb. 18, for the incident which took place on Wednesday, Feb. 16.
According to Dave Procopio, spokesman for the Massachusetts State Police, on Wednesday morning, the state police gang unit attempted to execute a search warrant at 182 Mechanic St. in Fitchburg as part of an ongoing investigation.

Worcester County resident Amanda Ford, age 35, of Fitchburg, pleaded guilty on Friday, Dec. 3, to conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and cocaine base, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.
