A Worcester man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury found him guilty of killing 23-year-old Leon Wilson Jr. during a violent robbery in Fitchburg.
Mugisha Jeanbosco, 27, was convicted of first-degree murder and armed robbery for the deadly attack near Pie Alley on July 11, 2019. Jeanbosco will receive a mandatory life sentence with no chance of parole. Sentencing is scheduled for August 1.

A 32-year-old Worcester County woman was hospitalized on Wednesday, Aug. 23, after she was involved in a truck versus motorcycle crash, police said.
Jessica Westover, of Fitchburg, was riding her 2021 Kawasaki ZR900 motorcycle east along Route 31 in Mason, New Hampshire, when she crashed with a Ford F-250 driven by a 55-year-old Mason, NH, man, New Hampshire State Police said.
