Donut Pass Go: Dunkin' Burglar Gets Prison For Repeated Break-Ins At Long Island Businesses
An admitted burglar will spend years in prison for breaking into multiple Dunkin’ Donuts on Long Island and stealing money. Christopher Volpe, age 44, of Patchogue, was sentenced to four to nine years behind bars in Suffolk County Court on Thursday, Oct. 19, for his role in several Dunkin’ burglaries around the county. According to prosecutors, Volpe and two others broke into five businesses between December 2022 and January 2023. Altogether, they made off with over $6,500. Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating a missing Long Island teenager. Aylin Torres, age 15, was last seen on Saturday, Sept. 9 in Farmingdale, according to Nassau County Police. It was approximately 11:30 p.m. when she left her Farmingdale residence on foot and has been missing since. Torres is 5-foot-5 tall and weighs roughly 145 pounds. A Long Island man was arrested for harassment, assault, and more after police said he made threats at two different places, including one church.
