A 16-year-old boy faces a felony charge after he was caught with a hidden loaded gun on a Dutchess County street, police said.
The incident leading to the arrest began just after 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, when officers began interviewing four teenagers on Pershing Avenue in Poughkeepsie, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department said on Wednesday, May 27.
While officers talked with the group, one of its members, a 16-year-old, was found with a loaded 9mm Sig Sauer handgun that police said was concealed.

Stephen Masten of Poughkeepsie claimed a $1,000,000 second-tier prize after matching the first five numbers in the Powerball drawing held on March 16, the New York Lottery announced on Thursday, May 7.
The winning numbers for that drawing were 7, 10, 20, 47, and 52, with a Powerball of 22.

A man is facing multiple felony charges after police said he burglarized a family member’s home and stole a vehicle in Dutchess County.
The incident that resulted in the arrest happened at around 2:50 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, in the Village of Rhinebeck, New York State Police said on Monday, March 23.
There, troopers responded to a report of unauthorized use of a vehicle and later found the unoccupied car on East Market Street.
