South Hackensack PD: Fleeing Driver Crashes On Wrong Side Of Route 46, Says He Swallowed Heroin
An ex-con who led police on a wild chase into oncoming Route 46 traffic before crashing and trying to run told his pursuers that he’d swallowed several bags of heroin and didn’t want to die, authorities said. America may soon being running on items like Greek salads and burrito bowls, as Dunkin' Donuts looks to rebrand and update its offerings. The quick coffee shop will be testing out new lunchtime foods at six locations including three in New Jersey, according to Food & Wine. Newark Man Charged In Trio Of Restaurant Burglaries
A 30-year-old Newark man has been charged with stealing hundreds of dollars in connection with three restaurant burglaries. A man later identified as Nathaniel Hartwell shattered the drive-thru window of McDonald's on 18th Avenue around 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose. Paterson detectives cracked a month-long burglary spree when they caught two suspects inside an elementary school. Detectives and uniformed officers responding to a burglar alarm converged on the K-8 Norman S. Weir School on College Boulevard (Van Houten Street), which had also been burglarized the day before, authorities said. Police are searching for a man who made withdrawals using a fraudulent debit card from an ATM inside a Long Island Dunkin' Donuts, and is believed to have made other illegitimate withdrawals from other ATMs throughout the county. State Police: Man Charged After Falsely Reporting Armed Robbery At Warren County Dunkin Donuts
A 22-year-old man was charged after falsely reporting an armed robbery at a Warren County Dunkin Donuts Wednesday night, state police said. John Visintin of Elmhurst, NY told state police that he was robbed at knifepoint at the Dunkin Donuts on Hope Blairstown Road in Hope shortly after 5:45 p.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. Further investigation revealed that the robbery did not, in fact, occur, Goez said. Visintin was arrested and charged with falsely reporting a crime to law enforcement, Goez said. He remained held at the Warren County Correctional Facility.

Authorities in Newark are seeking the public's help identifying a man who pulled a knife on a Dunkin' Donuts worker and chase them out of the store.
