A Rockland County woman was busted for allegedly driving while impaired with two toddlers in the backseat not wearing seatbelts during a late stop in Bardonia, police said.
A Clarkstown Police officer on patrol at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Monday, June 24, stopped to assist a driver who was parked in the left lane on Route 304 near the Bardonia Road intersection with her vehicle’s emergency lights flashing.

A 27-year-old man is facing charges after police say he crashed into a guard rail and embankment while driving impaired on I-87.
New York State Police say they responded to a report of a one-car personal injury accident on I-87 in the town of Newburgh on Thursday, May 30 around 10:20 p.m.
Further investigation revealed that the driver of a Toyota Camry lost control of the vehicle, struck the center guide rail, crossed over both northbound lanes and struck the earth embankment on the east shoulder, according to police.

A Route 22 stop in Putnam County resulted in separate drug-related charges for a man and woman from Northern Westchester.
At approximately 7:10 p.m. Saturday, April 6, Putnam County Sheriff's Deputy Christopher Irwin observed a vehicle commit traffic violations on Route 22 in Southeast, Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. said.
