Man, 67, Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Parking Lot Of Morris County Costco (

A 67-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a car in the parking lot of a Costco Wholesale store in Morris County, authorities said. The man was hit while walking through the lot of the Wharton store shortly after 11:30 a.m., Wharton Police Lt. William Hamilton told DailyVoice.com. The man was taken to Saint Clare’s Hospital in Dover for treatment of minor injuries, Hamilton said. The driver, a 69-year-old Sparta woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation following the accident, authorities said.

A crash on Route 46 brought down a traffic signal and utility pole over the weekend, authorities said. The Dover Fire Department responded to the crash at Mt. Hope Avenue and Route 46 in Dover and confirmed a downed pole on Saturday, April 16, authorities said. Crews worked to mitigate a fluid spill as the NJDOT was requested to replace the signal, the department said. Route 46 was temporarily closed as the crash scene was cleared. A man was killed after being struck by a train in Morris County Thursday night, authorities said. The man was fatally struck by the Morris and Essex Line Train #674 near Morristown Station around 8:45 p.m., an NJ Transit spokesperson told DailyVoice.com. A Morris County man is facing several charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted two girls at a motel room. Jose Rivera-Lobos, 30, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 6 after an investigation showed that he assaulted two victims who were with him at an Econolodge motel, Andover Township Police said in a Friday release.
