Police ID Missing Delaware River Boaters
New Jersey State Police have identified the two boaters who they said went missing on the Delaware River over the weekend. A search and rescue mission was launched Saturday for Joseph P. McLaughlin, 24, and Brian S. Palangi, 26, both of Deptford, New Jersey State Police spokesperson Adam Dewechter said. Their boat capsized near Crown Point Road in West Deptford around 2:10 p.m., sending them and a third victim overboard, authorities said previously. 33-Year-Old Dad Critical Days After Deptford Crash, Hit-Run Driver Sought
Police in Deptford are seeking the driver in a hit-and-run crash hat seriously injured a 33-year-old dad of three. Ryan Harley was on life support at Cooper University Hospital as of Tuesday, CBS3 says. Harley's family told the outlet he was on the phone with them when he was struck crossing Delsea Drive around 6:40 p.m. Saturday. Another Wawa Store With Gas Pumps Opens In South Jersey
If you don't have a Wawa close by, there are increasing odds of one opening near you soon. Replete with fuel stations, the newest Wawa convenience store opened Friday at 1465 Clements Bridge Road (County Road 544) in Deptford, Gloucester County. There are almost 270 Wawa stores in New Jersey with plans to open nearly a dozen more by the end of this year. IDA: 7 Tornados Confirmed In NJ, PA
The National Weather Service has confirmed seven tornados touched down in New Jersey and Pennsylvania Wednesday night in the remnants of Hurricane Ida. The NWS is still working on completing its surveys of the heavily-damaged areas. As of Thursday, 23 people had died due to the storm in New Jersey, Gov. Phil Murphy said. Motorcyclist, 48, Dies In Gloucester County Crash
A 48-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries following a Friday night crash in Gloucester County, authorities confirmed. Ronald Morris Jr., of Deptford, was riding a 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Greentree Road when he struck the curb near the intersection of Greenwood Road around 11:55 p.m. Friday, Washington Township Police said. Two men from South Jersey, one from Gloucester County and the other from Burlington County, face five years in state prison on child pornography charges, authorities said.
