Residents in Fairfield and Hartford counties are feeling lucky after cashing in CT Lottery tickets with cash prizes reaching six digits.
Over the weekend, a Bridgeport resident cashed in a $177,777 winning "7s On Fire" ticket that was sold at the Hood Market & Deli in Bridgeport, and Hartford County resident Lidia Fornal, of Enfield, won $100,000 on "$100,000 CASHWORD 10" that was sold at Sam's Food Store in Enfield.

Fairfield County Man Hits $100K In Lottery Scratch-Off Game
With all the news focusing on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, one Fairfield County man has a little to celebrate, with a $100K lottery win.
Tiago Seyllon Dasilva, of Danbury, won the $100,000 by forking over $30 for a $5,000,000 Ultimate lottery ticket, he purchased at Press Fuel in Milford.
According to the CT Lottery, he collected his "big" check on Monday, March 23.
Dasilva declined to be interviewed for the "Winners Stories" segment on the lottery website.

An area man had a lucky Friday when he spent $10 on a lottery ticket at a Fairfield County store and walked out the door a $100,000 richer.
Carlos De Souza of Milford purchased a Casino Royale scratch-off ticket at Pam’s Variety Store in Bridgeport on Friday, Jan. 10 and was an instant winner, according to CT lottery officials.

Allen Brualdi, who purchased the winning Gold ticket at City Star Market in Guilford, cashed in his winning ticket on Friday, Dec. 27, at CT Lottery headquarters, lottery officials said.
