A former Connecticut resident convicted of sexually abusing a minor in 1996 will spend at least a decade behind bars after admitting to possessing child pornography. Michelle Lynn Gschlect, who lived in New Haven, formerly known as Richard Gschlect, pleaded guilty in district court this week to one count of child pornography following her arrest in 2019. U.S. Attorney John Durham said that in August 2016, Gschlect was convicted in state court of sexual assault related to the aggravated sexual abuse of a minor. Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Sedated Patient At Hospital
A 44-year-old man is being accused of sexually assaulting a sedated patient at a hospital in Fairfield County, according to police. The investigation began after the incident on Saturday, Aug. 29 when a male patient, Rodney Daniels, of Stamford, was at Norwalk Hospital because of PCP usage. Man Guilty Of Crack, Cocaine Distribution In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County man with a lengthy criminal history has been convicted of distributing drugs in the area, U.S. Attorney for Connecticut John Durham announced. Bridgeport resident Rocky Samas, also known as “Twin,” was found guilty following a two-day trial of one count of possession with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine base, and one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Fairfield County Man Sentenced For Months-Long Bank Robbery Spree
A Fairfield County man who threatened to kill bank employees during an armed robbery and later engaged in a standoff with police has been sentenced to nearly a decade behind bars following his seven-month crime spree.
