Wawa Approved In Wayne, 4 Other NJ Locations Opening Soon
Wawa is coming to Wayne. The township's Planning Board on Monday unanimously approved plans for the convenience store and gas station at the former site of Nagel's Candy Barn on Route 23. The 4,736-square-foot convenience store comes with eight fuel pumps with two dispensers each. Nagel's Candy Barn closed in 2015 after the owner got sick, after nearly 60 years in business. New Northern Westchester Grab-Go Eatery Offers A Bit Of Everything
A new store that aims to offer "convenience with class" has opened in Westchester County. Paulie's Grab & Go, which launched its Katonah location at 24 Woodsbridge Road to customers on Tuesday, Sept. 8, offers coffee, snacks, a selection of beer and breakfast pastries. 19: Diagnostic Drive-Through Testing Clinic Scheduled In Putnam
The Putnam County Department of Health is holding another drive-through testing clinic for essential workers and residents with symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The COVID-19 diagnostic drive-thru testing clinic will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 5, the location has not been announced. Elvira’s, a convenience store described as “iconic” to the Westport area, will soon be reopening under new ownership following renovations and rebranding efforts. Wawa Is Opening In Roselle Thursday -- And First Responders Are Pumped
Wawa, the popular convenience store chain, will add another location Thursday, when a ribbon-cutting will be held at 1206 Rivington St. in Roselle. To celebrate, the Roselle police and fire departments will compete in a hoagie-building contest (in honor of the chain's popular sandwiches) dubbed "Hoagies for Heroes," a " battle of will, bravery, and skill of sandwich building," the agencies said in a tongue-in-cheek statement this week.
