Payment processing company BLogic Systems released a list of the 10 worst states for tipping. The analysis looked at average tip percentages, waitstaff wages, and public attitudes toward gratuities, combining them into a "Generosity Index." Connecticut landed third-worst nationwide, with an average tip of 19.8% and a Generosity Index score of 25.1 out of 100. State Investigating Inmate's Death At MacDougall-Walker Prison State authorities are investigating after an inmate at a Connecticut prison died.  According to the state Department of Corrections, employees at MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution removed the man from his cell around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, and took him to an area hospital, where he later died.  Officials did not release the person's name or speculate on what happened before he was taken out of the cell.  The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
