A Rockland business owner and his wife were arrested Friday on charges they defrauded the workers’ compensation system after the wife crashed a client’s new Mercedes SUV while on a joyride and then claimed it was being used as part of her employment. A former Rockland County woman who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for killing her son lost a bid on Friday in the New York State Court of Appeals to have her murder conviction reviewed, according to Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Ramapo Police Bust Publicly Urinating Chestnut Ridge Man For DWI
RAMAPO, N.Y. - Officers from the Ramapo Police Department busted a Chestnut Ridge man for driving while impaired after he was caught urinating in the middle of the street. Officers were dispatched to Chestnut Ridge Road at approximately 11 p.m. on Dec. 30 in Chestnut Ridge, where there were reports of a man who had parked his vehicle in the middle of the street and was urinating into the roadway.
