Police Are Knocking On Doors Amid Massive Search For Escaped Killer Danelo Cavalcante
The search for 34-year-old escaped killer Danelo Cavalcante remains under way in Chester County. Police were knocking on doors around Pocopson Township Sunday, Sept. 3, as there have been sightings of the convicted murderer in the area over the weekend, the Chester County District Attorney's Office said. A pair of women were injured when a West Chester man assaulted and robbed them early Friday morning, say borough police. It happened around 7:20 a.m. on July 7, on the 50 block of North Church Street, the department said in a release. A suspected Chester County heroin dealer is in police custody after spending nearly four years on the lam, authorities say. Jubenal Renteria, 27, of West Grove, was arrested by state troopers on Saturday, Dec. 3, and held at Chester County Prison after he was unable to post $10,000 bail, said Oxford Borough police in a statement. 10-Year-Old Boy Choked By Uncle During Argument In Suburban Philly: Police
A Chester County man was arrested after police say he assaulted his nephew. A 10-year-old boy told officers that his uncle, Stephen M. Reese, 35, of West Chester, had choked him during an argument inside a home on the 300 block of Fox Hollow Lane around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, West Chester police said. The victim claimed he was not able to breathe for a short period of time. Reese was then arrested and charged with strangulation and simple assault, police said.
