Police ID Man, 65, Killed In Condo Fire In Central Jersey Authorities have identified the man killed in a condominium fire in Central Jersey. Gabriel Mesica, 65, was pronounced dead shortly after being found unresponsive inside a Lakes Estates condo on Lake Avenue, East Brunswick police said. Firefighters were called at about 4:25 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 and quickly extinguished the fire, police said. No firefighters or police were hurt. The fire is not considered suspicious but remains under investigation.
