More than 1,000 Connecticut residents are still without power two days after a series of storms ripped through the region, flooding the area, downing trees and power lines.
As of just before 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, about 48 hours after the storms began, Eversource was still working to repair outages that continue to impact 1,035 of its 1,279,556 customers. United Illuminating was also still working on one outage in Woodbridge that was affecting three customers.

Many Fairfield County residents are still without power a day after thunderstorms rocked the region, taking down trees and power lines.
As of 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, Eversource was still working to restore power to 9,090 of its 1,279,556 Connecticut customers, while United Illuminating was reporting just six outages, with just one in Fairfield County.

The number of confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) rose by more than 362 in Connecticut on Saturday, April 4.
There are now 5,276 COVID-19 cases statewide, up from 4,914 statewide on Friday, April 3.
Of those cases, 2,824 (53.5 percent) are in Fairfield County. (See first and second images above.)

Number Of Covid-19 Cases In CT Climbs Past 1,000: Here's Latest Town Breakdown
The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is now more than 1,000 in Connecticut.
A total of 137 new positive cases give the state 1,012 cases. There have been 21 fatalities linked to the virus and 125 hospitalizations.
Thirteen of the fatalities have been in Fairfield County, which now has 607 cases. These towns have the most cases in the county: Westport 89, Norwalk 76, Danbury 69, Stamford 60, Greenwich 57, Ridgefield 43, Bridgeport 32, and Brookfield 24.
