CT Woman Killed Crossing Busy Roadway, Police Say
A Connecticut woman was killed when she was hit by a Jeep Compass while crossing a busy roadway.
Brenda Bradley, age 74, of New Haven, was killed around 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, in Milford.
According to the Milford Police Department, Bradley was crossing Boston Post Road near the traffic light at Costco and Bowlero when she was hit by the Jeep driving by Darleen Lee, age 68, address unknown.
Bradley was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital where she died from her injuries.

Arrested: Woman Accused Of Throwing Hot Coffee In Man's Face, Roughing Up Child
Police have arrested a Milford woman accused of roughing up a child and throwing hot coffee in a man’s face among other allegations.
On Thursday, Dec. 10, police arrested Stephanie Dearborn, 25, of Boston Post Road was arrested around 6:15 p.m. on two outstanding warrants, Milford Police said.
The warrants stem from two October incidents.

Woman Banned From Target For Shoplifting Arrested - Again - At Same Store
A woman who was barred from Target and charged with shoplifting has been arrested at the store, again, for another alleged theft.
Caitlin O'Callahan, 35, of Woodbridge, was arrested by Milford Police on Thursday, Nov. 19, after officers responded to a call from the store on Boston Post Road, said the Milford Police.
An investigation led to the arrest of O’Callahan who is accused of stealing over $360 worth of merchandise.
O’Callahan, who was charged with larceny and criminal trespass, was also banned from Target in October, during a previous shoplifting arrest, police said. …
Alleged Shoplifter Threatens To Mace, Cut Employee At Retail Store, Police Say
A New Haven County man was arrested after allegedly threatening to harm two employees at different locations following a shoplifting incident.
Isreal Skinner, 42, of Hamden, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 9, after Milford Police responded to the Boscov's on Boston Post Road for a report of a shoplifting, said the Milford Police.
An investigation found that Skinner, who is accused of stealing a $60 sweatshirt, threatened to mace an employee when stopped, police said.
Skinner then allegedly went to a nearby pretzel stand and asked for a knife saying he was going to cut the employee.
