A 17-year-old girl accused of driving drunk fled the scene after her car struck a pedestrian before the teen was involved in a second crash, Suffolk County Police said.
The girl, Christina Burns, of Selden, slept at the home of a family on Ashford Drive in Bohemia, after attending a party there on Saturday evening, Aug. 10, according to police.

A 24-year-old preschool aide from Long Island has joined the cast of CBS-TV's "Big Brother"
Nicole Anthony, of Bohemia, described herself as "hardworking" "determined" and "hilarious" according to CBS.
Big Brother will return for a two-night premiere on Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26. The show airs three times a week. After its first Sunday airing on June 30, it will start airing on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays beginning July 10. Julie Chen Moonves will return as host, according to CBS.

Man, Woman In Custody After Police Pursuit Following String Of Burglaries In Suffolk
A man and a woman wanted in a string of burglaries were nabbed by police following a chase throughout Suffolk County.
The driver, John Miller, 43, of Brookhaven, and his passenger, Annette Bowers, 45, of Patchogue, were arrested on Monday, May 20, after police were able to stop their Mercedes-Benz van on South Main Street in Freeport, police said.
The string of burglaries began around 3:45 a.m, Sunday, May 19, when Miller allegedly broke into the Walgreens at 1580 Route 112, in Medford, Suffolk County Police said.
