Man In Serious Condition After Being Hit By SUV On Long Island A man is in serious condition after being hit by an SUV while riding his bike on Long Island. The incident took place in Seaford around 8:15 p.m., Thursday, April 28 on Sunrise Highway. According to Nassau County detectives, the male bicyclist, age 54, crossing Sunrise Highway at Washington Avenue, was struck by a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder. Teenage Bicyclist Dies After South Jersey Crash: Police A teenage bicyclist died after being struck by a car in Atlantic County, authorities said. The unidentified bicyclist was struck by Montclair Boonton Line Train 1087 just before Watchung Avenue Station around 9:40 p.m., NJ Transit Spokesman Jim Smith said. The train had left Hoboken at 8:58 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Hackettstown at 11:07 p.m., Smith said.
