On Sunday, Nov. 8, Rooster’s Chicken and Waffles announced the grand opening of their New Britain restaurant on Arch Street. There are three other Rooster’s restaurants in Wethersfield, Berlin, and East Hartford. Rooster’s is known for chicken wings, Joy’s southern-fried chicken, sandwiches, salads, and, of course, waffles.

On Friday, Sept. 18, Hartford Police said they have recovered another five stolen vehicles and one stolen firearm. The recovered cars are from Simsbury Storrs Berlin West Hartford Longmeadow, MA. The gun was stolen from Glastonbury, police said. All of the cars that were stolen were taken with the key fob left inside, police said.
