: Baltimore Man Nabbed Just Hours After Deadly Bel Air Home Invasion: Authorities
A man accused breaking into a Bel Air home and killing the resident was arrested just hours after the crime Memorial Day, authorities say. Milton Mondowney, 31, had gotten into a fight with the victim before invading his home and killing him on the 1900 block of North Fountain Green Road around 5:30 a.m., Monday, May 30, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. A former Maryland priest has been sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for sexually abusing a minor he met through his church and producing nude images of other minors, the US Attorney’s Office for Maryland reports. Fernando Cristancho, 65, of Bel Air, was a priest in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, worked as a priest in Baltimore County and at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Harford County from 1999 to 2002. 4 Dead After Head-On Crash In Maryland: Police
Four people were killed and one was injured after a fatal two-vehicle crash in Harford County, according to police. Mary Yvonne Mejia, 54, died after attempting to pass another vehicle in her Toyota Rav4 and crashing into a Honda Civic on U.S. Route 1 at Rock Spring Road in Bel Air on Jan. 31 just before 1:40 p.m., Maryland State Police said. Wrong-Way Crash On I-95 Maryland Kills 22-Year-Old Driver: Police
A wrong-way crash killed a 22-year-old driver in Baltimore County, according to police. Jose Carlos Oviedo Herrera, 22, of Baltimore was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-95 near mile marker 62 in a silver Volkswagen when he crashed head-on into a Ford F-150 at around 6:45 a.m. on Jan. 31, Maryland State Police said. Herrera was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the F-150, identified as Jason Anderson, 36, of Bel Air was injured and transported to a nearby hospital. ID Released For Man Critically Injured In I-87 Crash
A man critically injured during a crash with a tractor-trailer on I-87 has been identified. State Police report that Orange County resident Louis M. Lupo, 52, of New Windsor, remains in critical condition following the crash on Monday, Jan. 13. The crash took place around 7:30 a.m., in Rockland County in the village of Sloatsburg when Lupo's vehicle hit the rear of a tractor-trailer that was parked on the shoulder, said Trooper Tara McCormick, spokesperson for the New York State Police.
