A search warrant of a Newark couple's home turned up 12 stolen vehicles including a jet ski, 10 motorcycles and sedan, and nearly $14.700 in cash, authorities said.
Jose Ventura, 34, and Carmen Y. Martinez, 31, were charged Thursday with receiving stolen property after a nearly two-month investigation, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.

Police: Newark Trio With Heroin, Cocaine, Assault Rifle Charged With Intent To Distribute
Three Newark men are facing a slew of charges after they were found with cocaine, heron and an assault rifle, authorities said.
Quadir Whitehead, 27, Damon Dunston, 19, and Najee Gregory, 22, were arrested near Harding Terrace and Bergen Street Saturday, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.
All were charged with intent to distribute, along with heroin and cocaine distribution within 1,000 feet of a school.
Whitehead and Gregory were also arrested on charges relating to burglary, conspiracy and weapons-related offenses.
Police Seek Man Accused Of Robbing Victim Of Gold Chain On Newark Street
Police are seeking a suspect accused of robbing a victim of a gold chain on a Newark street in broad daylight.
Tyrone Jackson, 47, is wanted in the Aug. 10 assault at Nichols and Pulaski streets, around 1 p.m., Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.
Jackson, known to frequent the area around the Bradley Court housing complex, is described as being 5 feet and 8 inches tall, and between 140 and 150 pounds.
He has brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion, and is nicknamed Al-Hood.
