Police arrested two people after one was caught shoplifting at a Stafford Walmart, authorities announced.
Walmart workers caught a woman later identified as Natalie Hardee, 40, of Woodbridge, stuffing items into a duffel bag at the Village Parkway store in Stafford on Saturday, Aug. 19, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said.
Hardee left the store after being confronted by employees, and left in a vehicle driven by Brian Padgett, 36, of Annandale, Decatur said.

Zaire Davis, 20, of Woodbridge, and Forootan Samiei, 23, of Oakton, arranged to sell the vehicle on Instagram, and met up with a potential "buyer" on Sunday, June 25 on Americana Drive in Annandale, police said.

A 27-year-old DUI driver is accused of assaulting a police officer during a foot pursuit in Prince William County, authorities said.
Prince William County officers tried to stop Glen Lamar Polite III, of Annandale, near Dale Boulevard and Kingsman Road in Woodbridge for a traffic violation on just before midnight on Wednesday, June 7, county police said.
