Seven dogs and five reptiles were rescued from an illegal breeding facility uncovered during a multi-agency investigation in Jersey City, authorities said. Yep, an alligator rescued from the cool waters of a Hudson Valley creek is recovering and getting warmed up. The small male gator was found in Rockland County at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, in the Minisceongo Creek near Bridge Street in Garnerville. A man and his dog were both struck and killed while walking on a busy Long Island street. The incident happened in Amityville, near the intersection of Broadway and Loudon Avenue, at around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30. An Amish barn had a blaze burning through it early Thursday morning, Oct. 10, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.
