New York State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the village of Mamaroneck for a traffic violation on Monday, March 4 around 6:30 p.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, 55-year-old Zoran Vukosavljevic of Bushkill, Pennsylvania, was allegedly intoxicated. A woman from Southeast has been charged with DWI after a crash on Route 6, according to Putnam County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded to a Putnam 911 dispatch regarding an auto accident in the area of State Route 6 and Stoneleigh Avenue in the Town of Carmel on Friday, Feb. 15 around 9 p.m. Further investigation revealed that one of the drivers involved in the accident, identified as 52-year-old Lisa Laureano of Southeast, was allegedly intoxicated. State Police responded to a report of a one-vehicle crash on I-87 in the town of Clarkstown on Sunday, Jan. 20 around 1:30 a.m. After investigating the scene, police discovered that a Toyota Corolla had run off the roadway. An Ossining man faces DWI charges after he was busted by Yorktown Police for allegedly causing a vehicle crash while driving drunk.
