A New York man already facing two pending stalking and harassment cases involving a Pennsylvania resident has been jailed again after allegedly filing a false child abuse report and threatening the victim ahead of court, police announced on Friday, May 22.
Ali M. Tobar, 39, of Nyack, New York, was charged after Camp Hill Police were notified of an ongoing stalking and harassment investigation on Wednesday, May 7, according to the release.

A 49-year-old man has been arrested on attempted murder charges in connection with a Dutchess County stabbing earlier this year, police announced.
Poughkeepsie resident Ulysses Davis, 49, was arrested on Thursday, May 21, in connection with a stabbing on March 15, City of Poughkeepsie Police said on Friday, May 22.
Davis is charged with second-degree attempted murder connection with the stabbing, which happened on South Hamilton Street at around 11:30 a.m., police said.

Tobias Buchanan, 25, of Kingston, was charged with third-degree rape, sexual misconduct, two counts of child endangerment, and first-degree unlawful dealing with a child, New York State Police said.

Two Queens women are accused of stealing more than $1,500 worth of merchandise from a CVS store in Westchester County — and later turning themselves in on active arrest warrants, police said.
