Fired Driver Slashed Tires Of 29 Amazon Vehicles, Dumped Evidence In River: Sheriff
A fired delivery driver is accused of slashing tires on nearly 30 Amazon delivery vehicles, stealing key fobs, and trying to hide evidence in a river, authorities said.
Anthony Gillio of Cape Coral, Florida, was arrested on Friday, May 1, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said. The 22-year-old was charged with grand theft of between $5,000 and $10,000, two counts of criminal mischief, and tampering with evidence.

A Connecticut man was arrested after New York State Police found a loaded handgun during a traffic stop on I-84 early Sunday morning, May 3, authorities said.
Troopers in Somers stopped a vehicle traveling east in the town of Southeast around 2:49 a.m. for a traffic violation, police said. While speaking with the driver, identified as 21-year-old Jayden A. Samaniego of Danbury, CT, troopers saw a Glock 9mm handgun in plain view inside the vehicle, authorities said.

Teen Dies Days After Motorcycle Crash In Hudson Valley: Investigation Underway (Update)
A 19-year-old man has died days after suffering critical injuries in a motorcycle crash in Dutchess County, authorities confirmed.
Kayden Kabashi, 19, of Beekman, died on Friday, May 1, following a crash in Pawling on Monday, April 27, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office confirmed on Monday, May 4.
The crash happened around 8:15 a.m., when Kabashi was riding a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on Route 55 when it collided with a 2003 Honda SUV at the intersection with Route 292, the Sheriff's Office said.
