A woman is accused of spraying an unknown substance into a crowd during a disturbance at a Long Island hotel, sending four people to the hospital, police announced on Saturday, June 13.
Jacquelyn Chan, 33, of East Garden City, was arrested after officers responded to La Quinta Inn, 821 Stewart Ave., in East Garden City at 8:44 p.m. on Friday, June 12, according to Nassau County Police.

New York State Police are investigating after a woman's body was discovered at a state park on the eastern tip of Long Island.
The investigation into the woman's death began on Thursday, June 11, at around 1:42 p.m., when troopers responded to Montauk Point East Overlook in Camp Hero State Park in Montauk following reports of a deceased person, New York State Police announced on Friday, June 12.
Once they arrived, investigators found the body of a woman, according to State Police.

Jason Gayle, 45, of Valley Stream, was arrested following the attack outside Elmont Deli and Convenience on Linden Boulevard in Elmont at approximately 8:01 p.m. on Monday, June 8, according to Nassau County detectives.
